Yes. There are other parties besides the at fault driver who may be liable for your accident. In fact, under Florida law, the owner of the vehicle, if that’s someone different than the driver, is also liable. In certain circumstances, depending on the facts, the employer of the person, if they were driving on work hours or on a work related function, may be liable.
