In Florida you’re not required to have lights on your bicycle unless you’re riding at night. Between the hours of sunset and sunrise you’re required to have lights with an active white light on the front of your bike, visible for at least 500 feet and a red light on the back of the bike, visible for at least 600 feet. Since 2012 strobe lights have been permitted.
