What happens if the other driver in my Florida car accident doesn’t have insurance?

Insurance companies are in business to generate profit. Like all companies they are not in business to lose money. When an insurance adjuster offers to settle with you they are trying to do their best to help their company, not necessarily to help you. We do not recommend that you try to settle with the insurance company. Very often that comes up immediately after the accident and you don’t even know the full extent of your injuries. It’s extremely important to make sure before you settle that you’ve reached maximum medical improvement. Don’t be in a rush, get the treatment you need, and make sure you understand what your ultimate outcome is going to be and what kind of problems you’re going to have to live with before you try to settle. That’s why we recommend you involve an experienced and knowledgeable attorney and that you don’t rush to settle a case.
