If more than one driver is found at fault for your Florida car accident, what happens is the responsibility is divided amongst those drivers. They will be responsible for your damages in accordance with that amount of responsibility that they were found to have had in the accident. For example, if you get awarded or if you settle for a hundred thousand drivers, and there are two parties at fault in the accident and they are found to have been fifty percent liable each party, then each party will be responsible for fifty thousand dollars of your damages. Now, if it is impossible to divide, then they will all be responsible for the whole hundred thousand dollars.
